Are you ready to make a pledge or register as a jumper? Take a leap of faith!

Leap of Faith

Kids with facial differences need courage to master the challenges of everyday life.

Leap of faith for AboutFace was created to provide you with the opportunity to mirror their daily leap of faith and raise funds in support of the AboutFace Camp Trailblazers program – a unique and wonderful place for kids ages 10 to 17 with facial disfigurements.

On July 10, 2010, in nine locations across Canada, corporate teams, supporters, friends and family of AboutFace will take a courageous jump out of an airplane to raise money and awareness for this great cause.

Please help make a difference, Jump or pledge.

Camp Trailblazers

Camp Trailblazers provides kids with facial differences a safe place where they can experience outdoor activities, new friendships and fun. For many kids, it’s their first time meeting other children like themselves and one of the only places where they can gain self-esteem and build a positive self-image. “In the eyes and faces of these children we see a beautiful spirit that transcends their facial differences. Camp Trailblazers is about teaching kids to keep that spirit alive their whole lives,” says AboutFace Executive Director Anna Pileggi.

AboutFace

Founded in 1985, AboutFace works to provide emotional and social support, resources and educational programs for people with facial disfigurements and their families. Living with facial difference is a social disability that affects over 1.5 million Canadians. AboutFace seeks to raise public awareness and understanding of the challenges and abilities of people living with facial differences.
